Thursday 21 May 2009. Part of P for Performance.
P for Performance was pleased to announce as its third performative event: He is supposed to get into your subconscious by Jacqueline Forzelius
An online loud reading of Jacqueline Forzelius ‘morningpages’ writing, finishing with a little song!
Short information about the artist:
Jacqueline Forzelius is an artist based in Sweden. She has opened an agency; it is trying its best to provide a service. We know it has something to do with communication – information is imparted earnestly, the efficiency of work endorsed (if not demonstrated). Just as we begin to lose the faith in this service, we realize we have somehow become participants. So, we are left to wonder, what hidden persuader is operating behind the scenes?
Her recent activity among others, include : 2009 Pop Up Art, an art fair for young artists. organized by Art Concept store and Erik Modig curated, Stockholm, SWE; 2008 My Travels With Barry Graduation show with the final year students on Piet Zwart Institute 2008 at TENT,Rotterdam NL; The Community gives me validity and The Community gives me false items, presented on 30 th march and 6 th April at Cornershop, Vancouver, CA; Video/installation Something that matters part in Kingdome Come curated by Ben Schott as a part of Redefine the Enemy in TENT, Rotterdam NL; Performance with Gerwin Luijendijk; Dont touch my Roof as part of a perfomance evening in Schouwburg Werk in Uitvoering coordinated by Maria Pask.
